Rest in Awareness: Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra

Rest in Awareness is a deeply nourishing practice designed to support rest, relaxation, and nervous system regulation. Each 90-minute session combines supported restorative yoga and guided yoga nidra, inviting the body to soften, the mind to settle, and awareness to expand beyond the constant doing of daily life.

Restorative yoga encourages physical ease through the use of props and comfortable, fully supported postures, while yoga nidra offers a guided meditative experience that cultivates stillness and deep presence. Together, these practices create space to replenish energy, reduce stress, and reconnect with a sense of inner steadiness.

No prior experience with yoga or meditation is necessary. All bodies, levels of experience, and abilities are welcome.

When: Sunday, August 9th, 7-8:30pm

Facilitator: Christina Rodriguez, E-RYT 500, YACEP

Investment: $30. Please bring your own mat and a favorite blanket. Additional blocks, bolsters, and blankets are available for your use. If cost is a barrier, please reach out.
